Solid Rocket Propellant Research Lead
In my final semester at UNLV, I wanted to start developing solid rocket propellant with the goal of competing in the SA Cup 2021 SRAD Solid category. Using RPA, I determined a blend capable of producing 2.5 kN of thrust with a chamber pressure of 10 MPa (theoretical). Unfortunately, I was unable to fabricate and perform test with this formulation due to timing. Hopefully the team will continue this work and prove its performance capabilities!

Can-Satellite Design 2018
In 2018, I led a very small team as the structural design engineer for the CanSatellite competition. The goal was to make a payload that resembled an aero-braking atmospheric entry probe. Unfortunately, the team disbanded prior to completion, but I learned a lot about design and had a lot of fun!
NASA Eclipse High Altitude Ballooning Project
In 2017, I participated on a UNLV High Altitude Ballooning (H.A.B.) team with the goal of live streaming the total solar eclipse from a weather balloon. This was my first meaningful project that brought me into the aerospace field.
